The tourist information office of the classified Tourist Office of the East at the Plaine des Palmistes is located at the National Park House.
• Open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 13:30 p.m. to 17:00 p.m.
• PMR access (Person with Reduced Mobility).
20 minutes from the east coast stretches the verdant plateau of the Plaine des Palmistes. It aligns waterfalls, bodies of water, pastures and peaks with rich endemic flora. In season, it is also the capital of the guava tree, a small tart red fruit.
