This experience is an invitation to understand the traditions, symbols, and rituals that punctuate the daily lives of many Reunion Island families. It's also an opportunity to share a moment of sharing in a place steeped in spirituality.
In order to allow as many people as possible to benefit from the riches of this religion, we offer you a journey into the lights of Reunion Island India.
In the programme :
- Traditional musical welcome at the temple (sacred drums);
- Lighting the lamp;
- Placement of tika on the forehead;
- Guided tour of the Maryen Péroumal temple ;
- Indian pastry making workshop;
- Henna application;
- Flower necklace creation workshop;
- Demonstration and installation of a traditional outfit (saree and vesthi);
- Making drums;
- Screening of a mini-film on firewalking/cavadee;
- Not forgetting the typical Indian (vegan) lunch on the temple grounds.
This day is a sensory and cultural journey, between music, perfumes, rituals and traditional know-how.
