Bassin la Paix is a water point fed by several waterfalls. It is located on the course of the Rivière des Roches at Bras-Panon.
Nestled between the municipalities of Bras-Panon and St. Benedict, Peace Basin is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful basins of theReunion Island. A haven of greenery and freshness, it is remarkable for its grandeur. There remains a place where the greatest caution is required. The water is often very cold there and it is advisable not to approach the waterfalls to be able to fully enjoy a moment of relaxation and swimming in complete safety. Warning signs are not installed.
The basin is the end point of the des Roches river canyoning descent, however most groups exit at the top of the Peace basin to reach the main car park. It is one of the easiest basins to access since it is a few minutes from the national coastal road. If you are there at the right time, you will have the chance to see the most experienced canyoners jumping from the waterfall that bears the same name.
