Plantation Vanilla Bourbon

La Plantation Vanilla-Bourbon is located in the heart of the Sainte-Rose heights forest, 300 meters above sea level. It is here that grows this vanilla so appreciated by the great chefs of gastronomy and connoisseurs.
The forest, hosting the exploitation on 5 hectares, is a protected site, sheltering a multitude of endemic species, on an old casting dating from 1708.
Concerned about the environment of the planet, the cultivation of vanilla is therefore done with the greatest respect for nature and the forest.
La Plantation Vanilla-Bourbon offers guided tours to the public. For about 2 hours, the visitor will discover all the secrets of vanilla cultivation: from planting the vine to processing the vanilla pod and the main vanilla crops. The visit continues in the primary forest. There are endemic, native and exotic species (trees, orchids, ferns and mosses).

Guided tours on Wednesdays and Fridays at 13 p.m.,
