Through this day, we invite you to immerse yourself in the Creole world of “long time”.​ Your host, Mr. Morel, is happy to welcome you to his home for a day from field to plate.

Authentic Creole cuisine!


Mr. Philippe Morel is a farmer and passionate about cooking, plants and of course Reunionese culture. His goal at the end of this knowledge-rich day is to take you on a journey back in time. How ? By showing you around his farm and making you taste local products.

He shares with you his know-how, his passion and his daily life. He invites you to discover authentic Creole cuisine, over a wood fire and eaten in banana leaves. You will find flavors, fruits and vegetables of yesteryear, so many aspects "that make our island a taste paradise".

The name of this day, “from the field to the plate”, becomes more obvious after this return to the sources. And above all, after having savored the good Creole meal made with products from his farm in the upper St. Benedict.

Walking gear, rain gear, sunscreen, cap, spare clothes and shoes.

Prices

45€ for adults and 25€ for children from 5 to 10 years old. The price includes the culinary workshop (optional), the farm visit and lunch.
