Sainte-rose enthusiastically celebrated the long-awaited reopening of the suspension bridge, emblematic of the town, which spans the majestic Rivière de l'Est. This landmark achievement promises to bring new life to the local community, highlighting a place steeped in history.

A little bit of history

The Bridge was built in 1893 by Ferdinand Arnodin, it was at the time one of the largest of its category. Throughout his life he underwent reinforcements.

An identical renovation

The renovation work (since 2021) was undertaken with the greatest care to preserve the aesthetics and authenticity of the bridge. The engineers took up the challenge of modernizing the infrastructure while respecting its historic character. The result is a renovated masterpiece that embodies the successful marriage of past and present.
