it's "good casual", friendly, outdoors in a natural setting of the remarkable sites of the East... It's also an excellent way to make friends with friends of friends for example or simply to have a good time in family, as a couple, or recharging your batteries alone… Here are some tips for a successful picnic.
The picnic, a friendly moment of sharing
Picnics are a tradition on Reunion Island… a friendly moment of sharing.
With family or friends, take advantage of the coolness in the highlands, the river in the lowlands to recharge your batteries, indulge in entertaining activities, but also eat well.
The advantage of the picnic is that it can be practiced in several types of places: by the sea, in the mountains, in the forest... Luckily, the east of Reunion offers all these types of natural sites .
Tips
- The cooler is associated with the armchairs and the tablecloth! never one without the other!
- Everyone has to get their hands dirty, so you have to distribute the tasks well: the one who will book the kiosk, the one who will light the fire, the one who brings the curry...
- Don't forget the water, for the other drinks, we trust you!
- Don't forget something to warm up the dishes, if like the Creoles, you have opted for a good local curry!.
- For dessert, we choose the potato cake rather than the cream pie.
- A trash bag to put the waste in, and above all, don't forget it on site!
- A hat, a cap or sunscreen, a snack for the siesta and a small table for the dominoes...
- A bottle opener and a corkscrew…
