The coastal path of Sainte-Rose, or fishermen's path

This path allows you to discover the steeper coast, because it is more recent, which goes from the Rivière de l'Est, to the Port de Sainte-rose , then to the Cayenne and the 1977 flow, to theCascades Cove, at the Source site to reach the Grand Brûlé.
This coast is still very wild. lined with vacoas as well as casuarinas, it is a parade of beautiful landscapes throughout your steps. The most impressive is still the fight of the ocean with the land, or rather the rock. the cliffs are stormed but yield nothing.

In places, they provide a pool... and we just want to dive in! but be careful, you must not risk it! Only Pointe Corail (which owes its name to a colony of coral that tried to become encrusted) and the green sand beach (olivine of volcanic origin) from the 1977 flow ask the ocean for permission to go there. enter slowly. But Monsieur is angry! Swimming absolutely not recommended!

This trail can be broken down into 3 parts

A first part which starts from Port of Sainte-Rose to Slippery Ravine which is more of a walk, approximately 45 minutes, ideal for observing the ocean and the vegetation. You will nevertheless be able to push until the casting of 1977: 1h45 and again until theCascades Cove counting 1h45 more.
You can also choose to do this trail with a guide. Eastern Adventurers offers you this 3 hour walk between the sea and Vacoas.
